About Eshe

A woman with shoulder-length dark hair smiling and resting her chin on her hand outdoors with trees and fall foliage in the background.

My background includes supporting high school students’ mental health, teaching yoga, and providing crisis counseling through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. I’ve also spent time in volunteer roles that feel especially meaningful to me, including assisting at an equine therapy ranch, sitting with children in CPS custody during hospital stays, offering crisis counseling through suicide text lines, and leading support groups for people living with chronic illness.

I completed my counseling internship at The Liberation Institute in Portland, a nonprofit offering donation-based services. I currently also work at Transformative Therapy, a mental health clinic where I support a wide range of clients, including veterans.

People I have served have ranged in age from toddlers to 70s, and come from all walks of life. I welcome all of you.

As a Professional Counseling Associate, I work under the supervision of Kelly Hirstein, LPC #C5026.

I’m glad you’re here and considering working together. It’s a privilege to support people in what is often some of the most meaningful and challenging work of their lives. My hope is that you feel deeply understood and respected, and that over time, you experience a greater sense of capacity to engage with your life more fully.

My understanding of trauma is shaped by both professional training and personal experience. I have seen how experiences of trauma can disrupt a sense of alignment, often contributing to patterns such as disordered eating and other ways of coping that, while protective, can also become limiting over time.

Through my own healing process, I’ve come to understand that meaningful, lasting change is possible. This continues to inform my commitment to approaches that support the development of internal safety and nervous system regulation, while relating to harmful or protective behaviors with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. People often describe me as warm, direct, engaged, authentic—and a little sassy.
